Add Your Favorite Web Services To Your Symbian Phone Home Screen

Mobile apps today are key ingredients to the mobile devices, no matter which one you are using. They not just add to the phone’s in-built features, but they make it whole new experience for the users of these applications. One such application i can boast about is the Flyscreen app for the Symbian S60 3rd or 5th edition mobile devices. This application puts even the locked/sleep screen of the mobile phone to a great use for the people as it puts your favorite web services on your phone’s sleep screen, enabling access to the content mostly used by the individual by fewer or no clicks at all.

Flyscreen is a screen lock replacement application that will change the way you think about your lock screen. It is the fastest way to get your desired information on the go. It basically adds your favorite/mostly used web service in a widget form to your phone’s sleep screen and there you go.  FlyScreen is highly customizable, cuts out a lot of unnecessary clicking, loading and waiting.

A broad range of web services that are supported would be Social Networking(Twitter, Facebook, etc), Weather reports(You actually can change the weather within the app. Just go to the Widget Gallery, Weather, then Edit. From there you can change the city and save.) Local-current news, RSS feeds or any particular website that you really track regularly for updates.

Frankly speaking, I’ve been using flyscreen app for a little while now and I can’t imagine without it. Flyscreen brings a whole new twist to my Symbian experience. Its simply great and is one app you must have on your mobile phones
