Airtel India, has launched USB 3G data card which will provide wireless internet connection over Airtel 2G/2.75G GSM services. The service has been launched before the launch of 3G services (of course, the data card will provide 3G service once it is launched).
It’s in the form of a USB and is a Plug and Play device. It supports EDGE/GPRS and UMTS/HSDPA up to 3.6Â MBPS speed and is compatible with Windows / MAC. The tariff plans are listed below.

One Month Validity Plans :-
- 500MB for Rs. 349/-
- 1 GB for Rs. 599/-
- 2 GB for Rs. 899/-
Airtel 3G Data Card Postpaid Plans
- Rs. 49/-, surf @ 10p/10 KB
- Rs. 350/-, get 500 MB free, additional usage @ Rs. 5/- per MB
- Rs. 599/-, get 1 GB free, plus 100 free local SMS pm, additional usage @ Rs. 3/- per MB
- Rs. 999/-, get unlimited access, plus 100 local SMS free
