Blackberry Pearl 9100 is third in Pearl series of Blackberry after Pearl 8100 and Pearl Flip 8200. Although Blackberry has retained the trademark look of its Pearl in this one as well, difference being a SureType keyboard and software combination that squeeze a few characters into a single button to reduce the overall size of the device.
Blackberry Pearl 9100 is a 3G enabled phone that runs on RIM Blackberry OS 5.0 features an optical track pad (which is a trademark feature in other Blackberry devices) instead of the regular track ball, for navigation. It includes new battery designs and also has Pearl written at the back of the phone, unlike its siblings.
