Coeliac/Celiac(pronounced see-liac) disease is an ‘autoimmune‘ disease i.e. it arises from an inappropriate immune response of the body against substances and tissues normally present in the body. Now, Gluten(a protein composite found in foods processed from wheat and related grain species, including barley and rye) triggers an immune reaction in people with coeliac disease.
This means that eating gluten damages the lining of the small intestine and other parts of the body may also be affected. So, the obvious thing is that a person having this disease must consume a Gluten free food. But the fact is that Gluten containing food items like wheat, barley, rye, etc are commonly used in cooking. One can manage this at home but what to do when you feel like eating out. Coeliac Map app is the respite for all those out there having this disease as this app enables you to find Gluten-free places to eat near you.Â

After going through this application, i cant find any reason that a person suffering from Coeliac disease should not have this application on their windows Phone 7 mobile devices.
