The Garmin nuvifone G60 smartphone has been launched in the US. It comes exclusively with AT&T. It’s a 3G enabled smartphone (First ever from Garmin’s assembly line), which has taken quite a while to get launched. Well, for those who do not know, Garmin is a huge company operating in the US. It has immense experience (nearly 20 years) in the field of GPS navigation system and Portable Navigation Devices (PND’s). The Garmin nuvifone G60 is the first smartphone to be out by the company.
The nuvifone G60 has advantages over other GPS-enabled devices because it comes with preloaded maps and voice-guided directions. The phone is based on Linux, comes with basic features like e-mail, calendar, document viewing and even comes with an HTML Web browser and all the wireless options.
