The latest application for Android phones is the one developed for their pet e-mail service provider. An updated version of the Gmail app was launched yesterday. Sources say, that the new gmail app is improved, easy to use and even allows you to manage your messages in the same way as working on a PC.
Messaging was never so easy on the mobile phone, but developers of android apps make it happen for you. Now, with the new app, users can view their important messages just a click away no matter how long the mail is.
There are times when we come across very long threads. Now, what happens is that we want to access a certain mail which is previously dated and hence we have to scroll backwards which can be time consuming. Using the new gmail app, we will be able to tap “Show Quoted Text” to access previous messages.
Besides above mentioned services, the updated version of gmail has limited support for “Priority Inbox”. If the user has enabled priority inbox while operating on the desktop then the android app will display “Important” label which shows all flagged messages.
Requirements for Updated Gmail
The main requirement for running this app is the latest Froyo OS, that is, Android v2.2, so it’s available if you have a Nexus One, HTC EVO, Motorola Droid 2 or Motorola Droid.
