Here comes the HTC Pure smartphone, considered to be the American version of HTC Touch Diamond 2 mobile phone but with slight differences. When the Touch Diamond 2 is running on WM 6.1 Professional OS, The successor phone HTC Pure boasts about its WM 6.5 professional OS.
And the only technical difference between the two is the 3G network compatibility – HSDPA 850 / 1900 for Pure and HSDPA 900 / 2100(Europe/Asia) for Diamond2. So, if you live in Europe and you got yourself a Pure smartphone when visiting the States, then you won’t be able to use its 3G network. Or if someone is not afraid of juggling with the device’s ROM software, can install another ROM, which will open up the 2100 MHz network, the standard 3G line for the continent.

Sleek design, High Resolution screen and Camera, HTC Functionality and AT&T Service are few things that make this smartphone special but Pure lacks a standard 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, Touch screen is resistive instead of capacitive and Windows Mobile can be slow in rendering and loading pages.
In simple and straight-forward terms, The HTC Pure offers AT&T customers an affordable touch-screen smartphone that showcases a more intuitive Windows Mobile operating system and strikes a nice balance between work and play. That said, those looking for a handset that excels in multimedia and Web browsing should keep searching or else stick with the iPhone if you own one.
