The mobile phone users all over the world are experiencing a period of euphoria, courtesy the ever growing competition between the telecom service providers or the mobile phone makers which pushes them to provide the least possible tariff plans and the best possible featured phones respectively to attract new customers and retain the ones already with them. For example – just a couple of weeks earlier, in India, there was a strategic tie-up between Nokia and Reliance Communications that enabled the Reliance network subscribers to download apps form the Nokia Ovi store. Quite similar to this, Google & Samsung have co-developed a new mobile phone called Nexus S(is the next generation of Nexus devices) that’s expected to create some excitement in the market.

The latest Android platform (Gingerbread), paired with a 1 GHz Cortex A8(Hummingbird) processor and 16GB of iNAND flash memory, makes Nexus S one of the fastest phones in the market. It comes pre-installed with the best of Google apps and enabled with new and popular features like true multi-tasking, Wi-Fi hotspot, Contour Display, Near Field Communications (NFC), Three-axis gyroscope, Anti-fingerprint display coating, Internet Calling support (VoIP/SIP) and full web browsing.

With this device, users will also be the first to receive software upgrades and new Google mobile apps as soon as they become available.
