by Abhishek on July 29, 2010

Nokia Beta labs has just announced that they are launching their own browser for series 40 devices to help these basic devices to get users more connected to internet on these devices. Nokia launched this browser just to provide the rich browsing experience just like other smartphones.

Ovi Browser is powered by patented Internet compression technology that delivers advanced web pages to your phone. The result is that pages show up quicker than ever, plus over the air data is reduced by up to 90%. Beyond performance, the browser includes an innovative user interface that makes it easy to access your favourite content directly from the start page without having to hunt through menus.

But still, it will feel better using opera mini on your series 40 nokia mobile phone as per our experience, ovi browser still lacks many features which are already there in opera mini but the ovi browser still in beta so no one knows what do they have in store more till the final version came out.

You can get an overview about nokia ovi browser, after the watching the video given below.
