Pay Bill, Recharge Phones, Send Money From Your Mobile Phone

Nokia and Union Bank has together partnered for the launch of Union Bank Money service which will allow users using nokia or any mobile phone powered with java to make bill payments, recharge mobiles phones, do cashless shopping and send money from their mobile phones as well.

Mobile money services by Union Bank Of India will pre installed on the upcoming nokia phones or one can pre install it on their nokia mobile devices which should support java to run this application. Some of the major key benefits of this service will be.

4. No Minimum balance limit

5. Pay as per use.

What a user can do with this service.
1. Transfer money to another person just by using the person’s mobile phone number
2. Pay at participating merchants
3.  Pay  bills
4. Recharge prepaid SIM card (SIM top-up)
5. Check balances
6. Keep track of expenses and payments
7. Cash out – Every customer can be issued an ATM Card to withdraw money from any UBI ATM or they can
withdraw money at BC Agents

How To Use

  • Deposit Cash: A consumer can hand over the cash to the Union Bank of India BC agent, who will deposit the
    money into the consumer’s prepaid account. The consumer is now ready to start making payments from his/her
    mobile phone.
  • Bill pay and recharge pre paid: Consumers can use their mobile phone to pay bills (mobile, electricity, etc.) and
    do mobile prepaid recharge.
  • Pay merchants: Consumers can pay any of the participating Union Bank Money Services merchants and stores
    from their mobile phone.
  • Send: Consumers can send money to any other Union Bank Money Services user in India using their mobile
    number. The recipient will get the money in his or her Union Bank Money Services account.
  • Withdraw Cash: Cash withdrawal is available for Easy Send customers at all UBI ATMs and Union Bank Money
    agents, which may also be Nokia retail outlets.
