Swype For Nokia Phones [ Symbian 3rd & 5th Edition ]

Swype feature was first introduced in Samsung Galaxy S. It is one feature which caught the eyes of many tech freaks. It’s really an easy way to text. All you need to do is swipe your fingers from letter to letter to type. It is being touted as the next generation text-ing. Now, it is also available for Nokia’s Symbian 3rd & 5th edition phones. Currently, available in Beta form, which means some features might be restricted. The app can be downloaded and easily installed in your Nokia phone (Symbian 3rd and 5th edition only) via PC suite.

The app is amazingly cool, which provides great comfort to the users. It has a dictionary with over 65,000 words already defined. So, there are loads of chances that the word you are “swyping” might be present in the dictionary. Moreover, there have been quotes from various social networking sites which we came across, where users were all praises for this app. One said, “Move over T9, Swype is here”, another said, “Why type when you can Swype”.

Apart from phones, this app is designed for various other gadgets as well, like tablets, game consoles, TV’s, virtual screens etc. A distinct and interesting feature of this app is the tapping of the word for correction. When you type a word incorrectly, or rather swype a word incorrectly, then double tapping of the word displays a list of other possible words, hence making it extremely easy for the user. Besides, the app is something new which mobile users have never come across before, so it becomes exciting to text.
