Indian Telecom sector along with the general public does not seems to get out of the ‘3G service launch’ excitement any time soon and the providers that has already launched it for the masses would like this situation to stay. But that cannot stop other service providers by making some great news and draw the consumers’ attention towards them. One such attempt has been recently made by Vodaphone that has launched a first of its kind ‘Balance Transfer’ Service.
Using this particular service by Vodaphone, you can send money ( aka Currency in your Mobile) to your friends any time, any day. USSD has made things a lot more simpler.
How It Works?
The procedure is really easy to follow. Just Dial *131*Amount*FriendMobileNumber# to initiate a money transfer and your existing balance will be instantly debited and sent to your friend. For say, if you want to send 10 Rupees to your friend’s Number 9999999999 from your existing balance, all you need to do is dial *131*10*999999999# and wait for a confirmation pop up. That is all.
And there is a limit to the amount that can be transfered and that is from 5Rs(lower limit) to 30Rs (upper limit).
Some precautions that you must take before using the service:-
- Make Sure you enter the Valid 10 digit Mobile Number of your Friend.
- You are allowed to transfer money to the same number only once in a day.
- Play safe with this as your crazy friend might grab your phone and send all your money to his number.
