Facebook is one social networking site that is getting constantly updated apps for various mobile operating systems. Keeping up with the competition is the Android operating system. Not so long ago, Android had launched Facebook v1.5.1 for its users, and now its back with an updated version, v1.5.2. Several new features have been included in this new version which I will mention in this post, not to forget all the bug fixes.
Well, the first addition has been, the feature of posting an image on your friends’ walls. Its simple, go to your friends’ homepage, click on the ‘Camera’ icon and click an image directly from your Android phone, which would be instantly posted on your friends’ wall. There’s also the new feature of posting images to groups. In addition, there has been improvements in the landscape, and not to forget the improved security using SSL.
While researching about this app, I realized that this is not the ‘Official Facebook App’, but it’s been developed by third party developers. Also while going through the user reviews, I realized that it has several limited features. Eg. users cannot send/approve friend requests, like/dislike comments. Moreover, some users were not even able to view their profile pictures or their friends’ profile pictures.
