The Google Mobile Apps available for Iphone are getting very popular in the market. Why not? Each and every application which Google offers is a taste of 21st century technology. Consider the Google Mobile App that lets you speak your query or the mobile locator that gives you more refined search results. Now, here is another Google Mobile App launched just yesterday which we came across, called Google Goggles.

Imagine if you could just click photo of a landmark building with your phone and the mobile app instantly identifies it and displays details of that same landmark building. Well, Google Goggles lets you do just that. It’s an easy to use app and very simple in concept. All you need to do is open your camera with the Goggles app, this will enable the Goggles app to search via the phone’s camera. Goggles will analyze and highlight the building or landmark it recognizes. On clicking it, the history and other details of the building will be displayed.

Take a look at the video to get a clearer picture about the app.

The Google Goggles

The Goggles App works great for a few things like landmarks, buildings, logos, book covers and DVDs to name a few. However, if you try experimenting on food, plants and/or animals, it might not respond. Currently, it is not developed for the same. The Goggles app is available exclusively for Iphones and that too the higher versions running on iOS 4 or above like Iphone 3GS or Iphone 4. It can be easily downloaded (free of cost) from the Apple App Store (Go to Google Mobile Apps).
