The new Symbian application, the Walkietooth, launched on March 24th, 2010, is a free downloadable application. It’s aim is to simplify communication between two smart-phones. The objective is to ape the communication between two walkie-talkies. It is available only for Symbian s60 5th edition phones. The eye-catcher here is that it is fully compatible with the old Symbian versions as well. In addition to this, there is also a volume controller (you can increase or decrease volume according to your comfort) and there’s also a proper guide window while using the application.
The application is free to download. it is available only for Symbian s60 edition mobile phones. This means that customers using Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia N97, Noikia N97 mini etc. can make use of full services of this software application. It can be said that Walkietooth is a higher degree of Bluetooth. Just like bluetooth connects two devices, the walkietooth also connects the two devices, but for vocal communication. Thus, it is certainly the next level of communication.
