You must have already been using the YouTube application for your Symbian phones and enjoying your favorite videos on the go, anywhere and anytime on your mobile phones. Here is the latest version out in the Symbian freeware market i.e. version 2.2.17

The research has been optimized for videos in this version i.e. When you type a keyword you will get the suggestions of the previous research. You’ll have more results through these related videos. The quality and viewing of the video has also been improved. Once you select the thumbnail of a video it will enlarge automatically so you can view it in full screen.

One limitation, however, remains that the app still does not allow comments or ratings of the videos.

Version v2.2.6 IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Browse and search videos while on the go
  • Watch favorite videos, rate, comment, and much more
  • More phones are supported. Most Windows Mobile and Nokia S60 devices can run this version.
  • Speed is awesome. There is faster application start-up, searching, and video loading. For even quicker access, add the application icon to your phone’s home screen.
  • Breath-taking Video quality. The application automatically detects your device and network capabilities, and selects the highest available stream quality based on those. Videos will look sharper and sound clearer than ever.
  • improved streaming over WiFi to support a wider range of networks.
  • More robust streaming, improved buffering ensures that videos will play even in weak coverage areas.
  • video viewing made damn easy. once installed, no configuration is required outside of the application.
  • The application is very simple to use and allows you to search and browse YouTube.
  • you can Watch flash and cartoon videos on your mobile phone, rate and comment.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Symbian s60 3rd and 5th edition mobile phones

There’s no questioning to the fact that it outperforms its old version v2.2.1.
